Georgian Day is organised each year leading up to Christmas by Armagh City and District Council and it is an opportunity for Armagh City to celebrate its' Georgian heritage by transforming the city centre with Christmas crafts and cuisine, music, street entertainers and children's entertainment.
Activities are held throughout the day in the city centre from 10am to 8pm. There are horse and carriage rides around the Georgian Mall and lots of music including Christmas carols and much more.
Last year the day ended with a dramatic light show with special effects, quite a new experience for Northern Ireland, with Santa arriving through one of the ‘magic' doors at the end of the show. If you would like to read more please click on the link below:
