The consortium has been delivering this annual course for several years now as part of a Defibrillator programme that also provided several local community groups with an Defibrillator for their respective community houses.
The training usually takes place in February and caters for 16 people. The service has also been availed of by members of local sports clubs over the year and was particularly highlighted by a number of tragic deaths of young sports people.
