The four week boot camp organised by West Armagh Consortium came to an end last Thursday. In total 30 people availed of the programme that included morning and evening sessions. While the individual 16 classes undertaken by all involved was certainly arduous there was definitely a sense of achievement among the 30 boot campers who persevered. The sessions took place in Clarke Fitness and we are indebted to Conor and his team for the hard work they also put in.
Congratulation to all the boot campers who are definitely now a more leaner and fitter bunch. Some have indicated that they will continue with a programme of physical exercise. The programme was funded by the NRPB’s Growing Communities Programme under its promotion of Health and well-being within the community. We are currently looking at the possibility of doing a repeat programme later in the year. Again ,well done to all involved.
