Local community activists recently took part in a Defibrillator training course delivered through the West Armagh Consortium and NRPB’s growing communities’ programme. The course took place in the Pearse Og Social Club on February 21st. All participants passed with flying colours. It is intended to roll out this project further with the provision of defibrillators for local community houses.
Consortium chairman ,Stephen Fields praised the activists who took part in the course adding ,” The feedback that we received is that those who took part found the course very interesting and informative. Even though it is the sort of training that no one hopes to have to employ it is nonetheless important that local activists are equipped with the necessary skills.”
