Over 40 people attended the personal and home safety event in Sherry’s on April 14th. Organised with the Westenders Senior Citizens Group, the event was addressed by a number of speakers including a crime prevention officer and community pharmacist. Advice on both personal and home security was given as well as examples of practical responses and reactions to a number of scenarios.
The group meet on the last Wednesday of every month at 11.00am in WAC office at Sherrys. New members are always welcome.
